How Mental Health is Evolving
As part of a mental health series titled “Navigating the Path to Mental Health,” Kent State University radio station WKSU reporter M.L. Schultze wanted to learn how mental health care is evolving in our communities. Schultze sat down with NEOMED’s Sara Dugan, Pharm.D., associate professor of psychiatry and pharmacy practice, and Russell Spieth, Ph.D., senior consultant and motivational interviewing trainer at the University.
The section with Dr. Spieth includes his insights into how physicians who are short on time can still improve care by using motivational interviewing—a skill that he teaches students at NEOMED.
