Girls Go Med participants

Girls Go Med Day Coming Soon

Female high school students who are interested in medicine can learn about careers in health care at Northeast Ohio Medical University’s Girls Go Med day, Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The program, presented by NEOMED’s student chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA), will feature female physicians speaking on a variety of topics; interactive stations to provide students with hands-on experiences, such as learning to conduct eye exams and take blood pressure readings; and the opportunity to interact with current College of Medicine students.
