Free COVID-19 PCR Testing Continues through End of the Year

Updated Jan. 4, 2022: The State of Ohio maintains a county-specific map of testing sites.

Alternatively, you may visit the Portage County Health District website to learn whether additional testing sessions have been scheduled locally. The district’s phone number is  330-296-9919.

Walk-in COVID-19 PCR testing continues to be available in the NEW Center through Dec. 30. Testing hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays except for holidays. Pre-register to reduce wait time during your appointment.

Individuals can expect results within 24 hours.

The tests are available free of charge to all individuals regardless of age. Children under 18 must have the signed consent of a parent or guardian.

The COVID-19 PCR testing is provided through the Portage County Health District in partnership with NEOMED, University Hospitals Portage Medical Center and Medical Reserve Corps.

Mask or face covering must be worn at all times in the testing area.
