Fend Off the Flu This Season

As flu season approaches, Richard Watkins, M.D., reminds readers about the importance of getting the flu shot in a recent What to Expect post.

The Northeast Ohio Medical University associate professor of internal medicine explains that it’s especially important for pregnant women to receive the shot.

He notes, “The flu vaccine is very safe. Getting the flu, especially while pregnant, is not.”
