Could Children be Silent Spreaders of COVID-19 and the Flu?

A new study by researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University in the Journal of Pediatrics suggests that children may be a “potential source of contagion” during the COVID019 pandemic.

What exactly does that mean? “Kids have been silent spreaders, and more attention needs to be paid to this fact,” says Richard Watkins, M.D., a professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University, in a Yahoo Life article.
