Cleveland Browns Player’s Appendicitis Treated by NEOMED Alumnus

When Cleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper developed appendicitis, it was a Northeast Ohio Medical University alumnus who performed an appendectomy.

The Akron Beacon Journal reported that Raymond Onders, M.D. (’88), chief of general and gastrointestinal surgery at University Hospitals, completed the surgery.
