Catch Dr. Allamby on the Kelly Clarkson Show

Picture a big group of fans yelling in our best Steve Carell voices, “AHHH Kelly Clarkson!”

Then tune into NBC at 2 p.m.  Thursday, Sept. 12, to see recent Northeast Ohio Medical University graduate Carl Allamby, M.D. (’19), on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Dr. Allamby will be featured along with comedian Jay Leno and musician Bryce Vine.

Before turning his focus to medicine, Dr. Allamby worked as a car mechanic, running his own car repair and used car business in Cleveland for nearly two decades. Now, the NEOMED graduate serves as an emergency medicine resident at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio.

Dr. Allamby’s story has brought him national attention from outlets including CBS News, National Public Radio, Black Enterprise.com and the American Association of Medical Colleges.
