Shout out to our latest Campus Kudos honorees!
Dan Addison, Campus Operations, was recognized for his positive attitude. “Dan is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. There is never a day that he doesn’t have a smile on his face. Dan is willing to go anywhere around campus to support the maintenance projects with a positive attitude. The world would be a better place with more people like him.”
Elizabeth Backus, Office of the President, was recognized for her training skills. “Liz took the time to help me strengthen my facilitation skills. She listened to my strengths and areas for improvement, then helped me develop various approaches for upcoming meetings. Thanks, Liz!”
Elizabeth Clary, College of Medicine, was recognized for her support and teamwork. One nominator said, “During a time when I really needed assistance, she really stepped up to the plate and helped me get out of a bind to support our team and students.” Another noted, “Elizabeth stepped up to assist when needed within the team. She took on additional responsibilities to lighten the load of other team members. She is always willing to help in any way possible. She is a shining example of teamwork!”
Sara Dugan, Pharm.D., Office of Education and Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy, was recognized for her insight and hard work. “Dr. Dugan is a hard worker and an incredible advocate for her team. She has a huge heart and cares for the success and wellbeing of students and staff. She has deftly navigated her new role and is amazing to work with. I look forward to meetings she’s part of, because I know her input will be insightful and valuable. Overall, she’s a wonderful person, and I feel very fortunate to work with her!”
Bob Kropff, Marketing and Communications, was recognized for his helpfulness and knowledge. “Bob has been so very helpful in directing me to update the ORSP website. He answers questions promptly and assists in areas above my knowledge. I appreciate Bob.”
Beth Leonard, Medical Education, College of Medicine, was recognized for her kind nature. “Beth is always so polite and kind to everyone. She is always willing to help out when she is asked.”
Katie Mulhollen, Admissions/Financial Aid, was recognized for her willingness to take on new responsibility and her sense of humor. One nominator said, “Katie is constantly taking on new responsibilities to help both Admissions and Financial Aid run smoothly. Without her, the department would fall apart.” Another noted, “Katie has a wicked sense of humor that she is quick to impart at just the right time. :)”
Debbie Myers, Accounting, was recognized for her kindness and willingness to help. “Debbie is very kind and always willing to help me with payroll questions. I really appreciate her taking time to notarize a document for me.”
Corey Robinson, Information Technology, was recognized for his troubleshooting ability, empathy and patience. One nominator noted, “Corey is always friendly and available when we need assistance with troubleshooting testing (and student laptops) and stops in for a chat 🙂 Thanks, Corey!” Another wrote, “Corey is always such a delight to work with. He is empathetic and professional. I know that being in IT is a thankless job for the most part, but Corey is always giving his best! Recently Corey worked with me when the laptop would not. He not only fixed the computer problem but explained what was going on along with what he was doing. This was a long process, but he kept working at it and keeping me up to date. Thank you, Corey, for being a wonderful person!”
Dana Snuffer, Comparative Medicine Unit, was recognized for her enthusiasm. “Dana organized a pumpkin carving contest that engaged our facility and that many others have enjoyed looking at voting on. We are very grateful for her enthusiasm.”
Angelina Steiner, Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, was recognized for her guidance. “Angela is knowledgeable in her position and works hard to share her knowledge with her team. During a heavy proposal submission deadline and having a large workload she also provided guidance in assisting her team for their submissions.”
Craig Theissen, Learning Center, was recognized for his leadership during transitions and support for his team. One nominator said, “Shout out to Craig for stepping in as Sandra’s backup while we transition in between Sandra departing and Nicole learning the ropes!” Another noted, “He is a great leader in the Learning Center. He makes time to support the individuals and the team. We appreciate all that he does for the students and for NEOMED!”
