The Celebration of Health Professions Education Event, hosted by the Colleges of Graduate Studies, Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Office of Faculty Enrichment and Engagement, in collaboration with the Bitonte College of Dentistry, was held on April 17 in the Watanakunakorn Auditorium and via Zoom.
The event kicked-off with the plenary with Tim Brown, Pharm.D., BCACP, FASHP, presenting “Optimizing Health Equity: Focus on IPE and DEI Intersection.” He also led an Interprofessional Education (IPE) workshop following his opening talk.
Following the plenary and workshop, participants transitioned to presentations from NEOMED faculty, and the new Bitonte College of Dentistry shared their vision for the future. See details below:

At the conclusion of the event, the Colleges of Pharmacy and Graduate Studies hosted their breakout session on “Working with Canvas: Higher Order Activities.”
The College of Medicine hosted their breakout session with Dr. William Cutrer, M.D., M.Ed., on “Transforming Lifelong Learning from Cliché to Reality: Developing Master Adaptive Learners.”
