Logos & Hierarchy

NEOMED’s brand hierarchy system is the foundation for a strong brand equity for the University. There are four logo tiers in our brand hierarchy. View each tier below for more information on specific visual requirements and usage.

No one should attempt to “construct” a logo themselves. MarCom is responsible for the development of all logos and University-related identities.

Tier 1

University Logo

The Northeast Ohio University main logo and its limited use secondary option serve as the overarching entity to which all other entities are connected.

This tier includes all colleges, research focus areas, centers and institutes.

Tier 3: For Letterhead Only

Departments, Offices, Programs or Events

Any department, office, program or event in any capacity that’s associated with the University can adopt this configuration.

Tier 4

Departments, Offices, Programs or Events

Entities that are part of our ERS properties, partnerships and other profit or non-profit businesses with target audiences that differ from the University’s base, may have logo designs that include full use of our secondary colors. Such logos must show their affiliation by including the University’s name as sub-text or part of the entity’s actual name.
