Graduation Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)

All students are required to have completed the baccalaureate degree requirements prior to receiving the M.D. Degree. B.S./M.D. students are encouraged to contact your undergraduate institution to verify you will meet requirements for receipt of your B.S. degree, if you have not already done so.

We will make every effort to assure you receive your actual NEOMED diploma at graduation. However, please be advised that failure to meet your obligations and responsibilities to the College will prevent issuance of the diploma. Therefore, as graduation draws nearer, please make sure you have:

  • Met all B.S. degree requirements
  • Met requirements for the M.D. degree
  • Paid all balances due to the College
  • Returned library books
  • Submitted all course feedback forms
  • Had a financial aid exit interview (if applicable) and submitted all required exit forms

Students completing graduation requirements after commencement will be issued diplomas once that documentation has been submitted, and it has been conferred that all academic requirements have been met.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

We will make every effort to assure you receive your actual diploma at graduation. However, please be advised that failure to meet your obligations and responsibilities to the College will prevent issuance of the diploma. Therefore, as graduation draws nearer, please make sure you have:

  • Met requirements for the Pharm.D. degree
  • Paid all balances due to the University
  • Returned library books
  • Had a financial aid exit interview (if applicable) and submitted all required exit forms

Students completing graduation requirements after commencement will be issued diplomas once that documentation has been submitted, and it has been conferred that all academic requirements have been met.

College of Graduate Studies

We will make every effort to assure you receive your actual diploma at graduation. However, please be advised that failure to meet your obligations and responsibilities to the College will prevent issuance of the diploma. Therefore, as graduation draws nearer, please make sure you have:

  • met requirements for your individual degree
  • paid all balances due to the University
  • returned library books
  • had a financial aid exit interview (if applicable) and submitted all required exit forms

Students completing graduation requirements after commencement will be issued diplomas once that documentation has been submitted, and it has been conferred that all academic requirements have been met.
