NEOvations: Bench to Bedside Students to Present Medical Technology Solutions in Aug. 12 Showcase Event

July 9, 2021

What happens when there is a patient need, but no available solution? Students in the NEOvations: Bench to Bedside program are working to provide these solutions to fill in the gaps of medical technology.

You can see the results of their work up close at the NEOvations: Bench to Bedside Annual Competition, 4-9 p.m., Aug. 12, 2021, in the Jay A. Gershen Atrium.

Teams made of students from NEOMED, as well as partner universities Kent State, Cleveland State and the University of Akron School of Law present “elevator pitches” of their prototype solutions to academic experts, clinical partners, industry leaders, and key community influencers. The projects are then judged by a panel of VIP judges and the winning teams are awarded financial support to further the development of the project.

This event is free and open to the public, although registration is required.
