NEOvations B2B is a seven-month program where interdisciplinary student teams work alongside physicians/clinicians to identify an unmet clinical need and work together toward a prototype design to address the issue. During the program, participants attend workshops and seminars aimed at teaching vital entrepreneurial and business skills associated with aspects of product development, device regulation, intellectual property law, and marketing.
The program concludes in August with the annual NEOvations B2B Competition. At the event, participating teams present “elevator pitches” of their prototype solutions to academic experts, clinical partners, industry leaders, and key community influencers. The projects are then judged by a panel of VIP judges and the winning teams are awarded financial support to further the development of the project.
