Research by Drs. Munetz, Ritter and Bonfine of NEOMED’s Department of Psychiatry was recently highlighted on the Psychiatric Services podcast, From Pages to Practice, produced by the American Psychiatric Association. During the episode, the podcast hosts discussed assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) and assertive community treatment (ACT) and their impact on decreasing hospitalization and reducing homelessness among people with mental illness.
