Now enrolling: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt starting this September!

NEOMED Executive Education is now accepting registrations for the next Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt for Service and Education Operations cohort, beginning in September. Designed specifically for the NEOMED community, this three-month blended learning experience runs through the end of November and provides practical continuous improvement skills in a format that fits the schedules of busy faculty and staff.

The program combines robust asynchronous online learning with engaging live online and in-person sessions, giving participants the flexibility to learn at their own pace while collaborating with peers and instructors throughout the course. All live sessions are held on Tuesdays, making it easy to plan ahead. The program includes four in-person sessions from 9–11 a.m., along with a variety of live online sessions offered on select Tuesdays from noon–1 p.m. to reinforce key concepts and explore Lean Six Sigma tools in greater depth.

Whether you’re looking to improve a process within your department, strengthen your problem-solving skills, or gain a deeper understanding of Lean Six Sigma, this program provides the tools and support to get started.

Why Join?

Continuous improvement is a shared responsibility at NEOMED. This program directly supports the University’s commitment to operational excellence by equipping faculty and staff with practical tools to improve processes, reduce barriers, and better support learners, patients, and colleagues. Participants will build a common improvement language, develop skills that can be applied immediately within their roles, and complete a project that delivers meaningful impact within their area.

The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt for Service and Education Operations is open to all current NEOMED faculty and staff who are interested in strengthening NEOMED’s culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking.
