Accreditation
NEOMED is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The HLC is one of the six regional agencies that accredit U.S. colleges and universities at the institutional level.
In 2013, NEOMED was reaccredited by the Commission for 10 years, the maximum period allowed.
The university’s next site visit by a Commission team will be Sept 12-13, 2022.
Institutional Review
At least every seven years, every NEOMED academic department and organizational unit is reviewed to ensure alignment to the University and College mission, vision and strategic plan and efficient use of resources. Institutional review guidelines are outlined in University Faculty Bylaws Appendix F.
Program Review
All graduate programs in the NEOMED College of Graduate Studies are reviewed according to the NEOMED Procedures for Regular Review of Graduate Programs and the requirements of the following government and accrediting bodies:
