Scholarly Activity Registration Process
All students conducting research and other scholarly activities are encouraged to register these activities by completing an online registration form. Many of these scholarly activities involve the collection of human data and include many different types of projects including human subject research, program evaluation, quality improvement, case reports, literature searches and needs assessments. Regardless of the type of activity, all projects involving NEOMED students must be conducted under the guidance and direction of a faculty mentor. This includes activities undertaken by NEOMED students while completing rotations at affiliated hospitals, clinics, or pharmacies. It is the student and faculty member’s responsible to register any scholarly activities involving NEOMED students and to ensure the hosting institution’s requirements for each activity are met PRIOR to engaging in the activity.
Research or other scholarly activities can be registered by completing the on-line form titled “Research and Scholarly Activity Registration Form”
