Mission Statement

The REDIzone program at NEOMED facilitates partnerships among the University research enterprise, regional economic development organizations, and the private sector to catalyze the development of biotechnology, stimulate regional economic prosperity, and improve health worldwide.

Goals

The REDIzone business incubator was established with a total of five goals in mind improve the health and wellness of humanity through medical innovation:

  1. Enhance the University’s research efforts;
  2. Foster the entrepreneurial efforts of NEOMED’s faculty, staff and students;
  3. Identify, recruit and support developing companies dedicated to health improvement, particularly those aligned with the University’s research focus areas;
  4. Contribute to Northeast Ohio’s economic prosperity through job creation and business development; and
  5. Develop lasting relationships with private sector business communities.
