The NEOMED ECHO Story
Since 2017, the NEOMED Department of Psychiatry has offered consultation, training and clinical mentorship as a hub for the Project ECHO® model. NEOMED has proven so successful at employing the ECHO model that it was recently approved to be a Project ECHO® Superhub— the 15th worldwide and the first in Ohio. A Superhub designation allows NEOMED to spread important knowledge even further, establish new Project ECHO hubs and leverage the capabilities of other regional partners to address complex conditions.
NEOMED’s implementation of the Project ECHO model has already served hundreds of participants across the nation – and NEOMED plans to grow its Project ECHO programs as resources in workforce development.
Extending Impact
In just three years, NEOMED’s ECHO programs have served 535 participants, coming from 48 of the 88 counties in Ohio and from 16 of the 50 states.
