Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Hassan Chami and Dr. Prashant Patel

Drs. Charlie and Kathy Cather visited southeast Michigan and met up with two graduates from the 2015 College of Pharmacy graduating class: Dr. Hassan Chami and Dr. Prashant Patel.

Dr. Chami has a very entrepreneurial spirit. He owns HealthPro Pharmacy, opened a restaurant (The Terry Melt) within the community and hosts a large Ramadan Celebration in the Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area. Last year, the celebration raised enough money to send four individuals on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Dr. Chami also has a strong interest in assisting others in developing business opportunities.

Dr. Chami is training Dr. Patel to integrate his business model into the pharmacy that both him and Dr. Patel own, which is in California near the campus of UC Berkley.
Both are doing well and very proud of the educational opportunities provided by NEOMED.
