Student receiving white coat

NEOMED Welcomes First-Year Medicine and Pharmacy Students with White Coat Ceremonies

On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, NEOMED formally welcomed all first-year medicine and pharmacy students by providing each with their own white coat. The white coats are symbolic of the professionalism that is expected of students during medicine and pharmacy school, and as physicians and pharmacists. The ceremonies are a major milestone for students as they transition into their new journey of lifelong learning and serving their communities.
