NEOMED Health Care at DeWeese shall not provide written absence excuses for students who miss a class, presentation, quiz, exams or other academic responsibilities.

Kent State students should be mindful of the excuse note policy when scheduling appointments.

We strongly encourage students who are ill to contact their professors before an absence to plan for any classes or deadlines that may be missed.

For students who seek services at the clinic, we will provide a walk-out statement that will show the date and time of your appointment.
