Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International

AAALAC is the independent accrediting body that reviews Northeast Ohio Medical University animal care program and facilities once every three years to document our compliance with the Guide For the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the Public Health Service (PHS) Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.

Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW)

OLAW is the office at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) which has responsibility for general administration and coordination of the PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.
