The Health Careers Bootcamp (formerly MEDCAMP) is an immersive summer program for undergraduate students exploring careers in healthcare.

Hosted by NEOMED and the Area Health Education Centers (AHEC), this year’s Health Careers Bootcamp will be held June 15-17, 2027, at NEOMED.

The camp is perfect for you if:

• You want firsthand exposure to health professions before committing to a specific academic or career path
• You prefer to learn through experience, not just observation

Get hands-on experience across the health professions

• Engage in hands-on learning activities across such fields as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and health research
• Participate in faculty-led sessions and small-group workshops
• Experience learning environments that reflect real academic and clinical settings

Build skills and clarify your career path

• Gain practical insight into a wide range of health careers
• Build foundational academic, clinical, and professional skills
• Develop a clearer understanding of how health professionals work together within a health system

Program cost and application information

• The fee is $250. Some waivers may be available. Information on how to apply will be available in February.
