Biography
I am a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Main Campus, board certified in internal medicine, infectious disease and medical microbiology. I have been actively involved in medical education in my career. Currently, I am a professor in internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University and a clinical assistant professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
I earned my undergraduate degree in microbiology from Washington State University and my medical degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Post-graduate medical education was completed at the Cleveland Clinic from 2000-06.
In addition, I am involved with the American Board of Internal Medicine serving in the approval committee for the longitudinal knowledge assessment program in infectious diseases and an item-writer for the American Board of Pathology Certlink section for medical microbiology.
