Prioritizing People.
Optimizing Performance.

The Employee Empowered Excellence (EEE) initiative includes training programs designed to develop of our people, optimize performance to achieve our goals and foster operational excellence in our workplace. In addition to Lean Six Sigma, the Strategy Office is now offering professional development workshops that focus on various topics listed below. Workshops are expected to be held 1-2 times each month based on interest.

Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a globally practiced process improvement methodology that is becoming a standard practice across health care administration and higher education.

LSS practitioners share a common vocabulary, project tools and a conceptual process-improvement framework. This framework unites them in the pursuit of continuous quality improvement, process efficiency and effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.

At NEOMED, many of our faculty, staff, and students have been trained at some level in LSS and are the drivers of quality improvement at the University!
