Bio
Dr. Wisneski is the Vice Dean for the College of Graduate Studies and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
He received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science (currently St. Joseph’s University), Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia, and Master’s of Business Administration at Walsh University.
Prior to his appointment to the university, he was the pharmacy manager at Summa Health System.
In the past Dr. Wisneski has held positions in clinical pharmacy, ambulatory care, hospital pharmacy management, the pharmaceutical industry, and as a pharmacist in the U.S. Army. In addition to his responsibilities as Vice Dean, Director Wisneski serves as director for the Pharmacy Practice Management and Health Care Structure and Process courses.
He teaches on a variety of topics to include practice management, business planning, health care delivery, leadership, and history of pharmacy.
Area of Expertise/Research Interests
Dr. Wisneski’s interests include faculty development, pharmacy practice management, business planning for patient care services, health care delivery in the United States, professional identity and the history of pharmacy. He conducts historical research related to the practice of pharmacy during the Civil War and opioid addiction.
