Biography
Brian Harrell has been an adjunct graduate faculty member at NEOMED since 2018, teaching in the College of Graduate studies. His research writing courses span many cohorts, including Medical Ethics and Humanities, Global Health and Innovations, Health Systems Science and Foundations of Medicine. In 2022, Brian started the NEOMED Writing Center as a Pilot Program that ends in the summer of 2024, to help students of all colleges in their high stakes writing.
Expertise and Research Interests
Brian’s research interests include academic writing, AI in academics, writing center theory composition theory, composition pedagogy, and the rhetoric of health and medicine.
