Administrative Coordinator, College of Graduate Studies

Biography

Radical kindness guides my work. I have over eight years of experience in higher education, and am currently the Administrative Coordinator for COGS, and Secretary for NEOMED’s Black and Latinx Employee Resource Group.

I volunteer with both Freedom Taillight Project performing free car repairs and Working Families Party. In 2023, I was honored as 1 of 7 statewide nominees for the Ohio Latino Affairs Commission’s Premio La Cumbre award. During my previous advancement work, I started a storytelling initiative (explaining and sharing student dreams with donors) that secured a $300,000 estate gift the first year.

I was honored to be the closing speaker at the 2025 TEDxNEOMED event, themed, “shaping our communities.” My talk, “Reap What You Sow,” explored how inaction shapes our communities in unseen and permanent ways.

Beyond work, I’m a freelance artist who loves gardening, reading, concerts, video and tabletop games, and my loving pets.
