Khaled Adjerid, Ph.D.
Academic Title(s)
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow – German Infant Swallowing Lab
- Instructor – Anatomy and Neurobiology
Bio
Dr. Adjerid’s work centers around fluid control and fluid flow characterization. Currently, Dr. Adjerid is looking at the role of sensory stimulation on the control of swallowing in infants. His work aims to identify and alleviate issues associated with dysphagia specifically in preterm neonates. His background is in biomechanics and biomedical engineering and has an interest in bioinspiration and biomimetics.
