An new college built to deliver an innovative approach to dental education. 

The Bitonte College of Dentistry is not just another dental education program. The Bitonte College of Dentistry is thoughtfully designed by experienced leaders to deliver today’s dental students with a relevant educational foundation, state of the art training using the newest simulation technology available, and the hands-on clinical experiences both on campus and throughout the region to make a real difference in both our patients’ oral health and the quality of our graduates resumes.

Northeast Ohio Medical University is in the process of securing initial accreditation for the Bitonte College of Dentistry. The application to the Ohio Department of Higher Education was approved by the chancellor in July 2023. The application for initial accreditation to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) is currently under review. The application to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is in progress.

While the University is announcing and making plans for the Bitonte College of Dentistry, students may not enroll prior to initial accreditation status as granted by CODA and the HLC. More about our accreditation.
