National Public Radio Program Highlights Rural Medicine Education

“The Rural Doctor is In” shadows Alex Heintzelman, M.D., director of the Rural Medicine Education Pathway, in his Columbiana (Ohio) practice for a NPR story about the new generation of medical students and residents learning to practice medicine in rural America. 

Others from NEOMED are included in the story, which first aired Friday, Oct. 8, on NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
