Acton Honored as Humanitarian

Amy Stearns Acton (‘90), M.D., former director of the Ohio Department of Health, was one of three recipients of the 2021 UC Health Humanitarian of the Year Award. Dr. Acton was honored for her work in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards were made at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration by UC Health, the University of Cincinnati’s affiliated health system.
