Impact of COVID-19 on Medical Education Noted in VITALS Program

Free and open to the public, NEOMED’s new leadership speaker series began on its virtual platform Thursday, Oct. 1. Spectrum News noted the launch of VITALS: Visionary Health Leadership in Action, quoting NEOMED president John Langell, M.D., Ph.D., on the impact of COVID-19 on medical education.

Watch the first installment, featuring guest speaker William Considine, CEO Emeritus of Akron Children’s Hospital.

The next VITALS event is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. It will feature Rajeev Venkayya, M.D. (’91), president of the Global Vaccine Business Unit at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company.
