Protests vs. Pandemic

With protests taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic, experts like Richard Watkins, M.D., are reminding protest- and rally-goers to continue practicing social distancing and proper hand hygiene.

An associate professor of internal medicine who specializes in infectious disease, Dr. Watkins tells Health, “If people are social distancing and wearing a mask while protesting, they should be OK. If not, they should self-quarantine for two weeks.”
