Should Reusable Shopping Bags Stay Home During COVID-19?

Thomas File Jr., M.D., the president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, is a professor of internal medicine and the chair of the Infectious Disease Section at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. File recently spoke with Cleveland.com about the risk of reusable shopping bags during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He agrees with other experts interviewed for this article, who said that the risk of contracting COVID-19 from reusable shopping bags is theoretical.
