Fans of NEOMED Alumni

Amy Stearns Acton, M.D. (’90), director of health for the Ohio Department of Health, is being praised for her leadership in Ohio’s COVID-19 response.

She has gained so many followers over the past month from Gov. Mike DeWine’s daily press conferences that a Dr. Amy Acton Fan Club was created on Facebook.

Not only is NEOMED a fan of Dr. Acton – we’re fans of all of our Northeast Ohio Medical University alumni!

NEOMED has its own FAN Club – the Future Alumni of NEOMED Club, where students have the opportunity to engage with NEOMED alumni, such as Dr. Acton, before they become physicians and pharmacists themselves.
