Renovations Underway Across Campus
In addition to the new, $24 million, 87,000 square-foot medical office building and academic learning center being built at the front of campus, renovations are underway in the South Wing of Northeast Ohio Medical University.
In a recent update, Richard Kasmer, Pharm.D., J.D., vice president for academic affairs and dean of the College of Pharmacy, shared projected completion dates and 3D renderings that show the renovated Great Hall with 30 desk pods, each station equipped with computer monitors. To reach that goal, workers are on site early each morning and later in the evening, to avoid disrupting the schedules of faculty, staff and students.
The South Wing project is part of a multi-year renovation effort that will transform nearly 30,000 square feet of existing University property, including meeting rooms, lecture halls and common areas.
This portion of construction is expected to be completed by October 2019.
