Biomedical 3D Printing Event

The REDIzone, with TeamNEO’s assistance, hosted an event at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) to showcase the pioneering work in biomedical 3D printing of three innovative Youngstown, Ohio companies – Juggerbot 3D, FibreTuff and Pamton. In addition to an overview of biomedical 3D printing, the presentation included bone modeling, 3D-print orthotics and prosthetics, and a natural fiber-filled alloy that is approved for use in some Class 2 applications. The presentation was followed by Q&A and light snacks were provided.

The event was held Tuesday, Dec. 11, from noon-1:30 p.m. in the NEOMED Education and Wellness (NEW) Center, Room 2016.
