NEOMED-Trained Physician Takes New Ophthalmology Post

A new ophthalmology clinic operating in collaboration with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has hired Northeast Ohio Medical University alumna Mona Adeli, M.D. (’14) as one of its two physicians. A board-eligible ophthalmologist, Dr. Adeli now practices at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio, which offers cataract surgery services.
Recognized at the Ohio State University 37th Annual Ophthalmology Research Symposium, the University of Akron graduate has a special interest in underserved populations.
