Biography

I grew up in Nebraska and attended UNL earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry and a Teaching Certification for Secondary Sciences. After teaching high school and being a dental assistant, I discovered my passion for dentistry while being a patient at the UNMC College of Dentistry and the rest they say, is history.

I was a solo-practitioner of general dentistry from the start and practiced for 21+years in South Dakota and Nebraska rural communities before selling my practice to return to academia.

Prior to NEOMED, I was an Assistant Professor and Team Lead at UNMC COD.
