Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and serve on the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Medical Student Education Steering Committee. My leadership has been recognized through the 2024 STFM New Faculty Scholar Award; I was the only non‑physician in my cohort to receive this distinction. I am a NEOMED Master Teacher Guild member and Course Director for the M1 Practice of Medicine courses. I teach patient‑centered communication, motivational interviewing, and principles of emotional intelligence to future healthcare professionals. I am known as a supportive, learner‑centered, and dynamic educator, with scholarly interests in behavioral science education, medical student wellness, and professionalism.
