Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

NEOMED Health Care, the primary care health center on the NEOMED campus in Rootstown, Ohio, now provides treatment for opioid use disorder.

NEOMED Health Care is staffed by three primary care physicians, who are all trained in assessment and treatment of opioid use disorder. A behavioral health counselor from Travco Behavioral Health is embedded part-time within the practice to provide initial assessment and ongoing individual and group cou­nseling for patients.

NEOMED is committed to reducing substance use disorders including opioid use disorder through programming for students, physicians and all medical professionals.
