Student Leaders Recognized During Inaugural Awards Program

On April 25, NEOMED hosted its inaugural Student Leadership Awards to recognize the outstanding service and leadership of individual students and student groups that make an impact both at NEOMED and in their communities. The new awards program was launched through the efforts of the Office of Student Affairs, which works to help students reach their full potential while they aspire to become the next generation of leaders in the health care professions.

“We witness examples of outstanding student success on a daily basis that can go unrecognized by the students’ classmates and families,” said Harmony Ramunno, M.B.A., assistant director of student development and leadership. “The Office of Student Affairs wanted to recognize our student leaders for their service and leadership by highlighting their achievements. They are filled with passion and drive to be positive forces in the world.”
