Learn the Signs of Human Trafficking

Northeast Ohio Medical University will host a workshop to help the public recognize potential signs of human trafficking. Inola Hall of Townhall II in Kent will share her expertise on the common physical and psychological warnings often displayed by victims of human trafficking. Discussion will also include the state of modern human trafficking and will aim to debunk myths on the topic. The event is free and open to the public, and registration is required.

Red Flags of Human Trafficking will take place at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Regula Training Room on the NEOMED campus. The event is part of NEOMED’s Embracing Diversity Series, which aims to bring attention to and focus on competencies around various diverse topics and cultural issues.
