In the news: Student launches Jewish group on campus
During his first year in the College of Medicine, Daniel Dorman was busy learning the foundations of medicine. But he felt disconnected from the foundations of his spiritual life.
To fill the gap, Dorman started the Jewish Student Association at NEOMED. Rebecca German, Ph.D., vice president for research, serves as group advisor.
Dorman recently shared his story with the Cleveland Jewish News.
“The group is open to anyone who wants to come,” Dorman said in the interview. “Just that little bit of Jewish life here during down time between classes or a break from studying can make all the difference in someone else coming to school at NEOMED.”
