Biography

Dr. Amy Lee, M.D., M.P.H., MBA is Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

For the College of Medicine, Dr. Lee is co-module dyad leader for Population Health in the new curriculum and is the course director for the required M4 Quality Improvement course.

For the College of Graduate Studies, she teaches the Population, Public, and Determinants of Health course for the Master of Leadership in Health Systems Science (MLHSS).

She is the program director of Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master of Public Health and teaches three courses and is the primary administrator, coordinating committees, events, accreditation activities, and strategic planning. She is advisor for several student interest groups, including APAMSA, AMSA, Step and Sway Ballroom Club, and Public Health Interest Group. Dr. Lee is on the American Public Health Association’s Executive Board; she has just completed a two-year term as president of the Board of Directors for ASIA, Inc.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND EXPERTISE

My research interests and areas of expertise include public health academia, distance learning, and quality improvement.
