Bio

At NEOMED, I serve as the section lead for Specialty Care, the director of Workforce Development, the director of Professional Development for the College of Pharmacy. I am also a professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Previously, I served as:

  • the clinical pharmacy specialist – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (2010-2023) and PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program director (2013-2023) at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio, and
  • the clinical pharmacy specialist – Pediatric Surgery/Intestinal Failure (2005-2010) at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Systems in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

My expertise is in neonatal-pediatric pharmacotherapy, nutrition support therapy, ethanol lock therapy, and management of patients with intestinal failure.
