2021 College of Pharmacy White Coat Program

CVS Sponsorship Recognized

Richard Kasmer, Pharm.D., J.D., vice president of Academic Affairs and dean of the NEOMED College of Pharmacy (photo, center), presented a commemorative CVS White Coat cover signed by the Class of 2021 to Shawn Eaton, region sales manager at CVS Caremark Corporation (left) and Tyson Cromeens, senior advisor, professional and college relations at CVS Pharmacy (right). The gift was made in gratitude to CVS, which has sponsored the College of Pharmacy’s White Coat ceremony ever since its inaugural class, in 2007.

The White Coat Ceremony is held at the beginning of each academic year to mark the transition of first-year College of Pharmacy students into the clinical health care setting. Similar ceremonies are held at NEOMED’s College of Medicine and at additional health care training institutions across the U.S.
