James A. Nard, M.D., professor of pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital, has been awarded the 2024 Pediatric Hospital Medicine Award for Excellence in Clinical Care.

The PHM website states that “This award recognizes excellent clinical care and/or clinical leadership by a Pediatric Hospitalist during the prior year. This may be shown through the development of clinical services or teams, growth or improved value of services, outstanding professionalism, or outstanding leadership at the local, regional or national level.”
